​As Recon's Project Engineering Director, Tracy Childs brings 25 years of experience in the construction industry, with a specialized focus on commercial electrical project management. Throughout her career, Tracy has demonstrated exceptional skill in overseeing projects from start to finish, particularly those under the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). Her dedication to maintaining meticulous project documentation, processing subcontracts, and tracking construction costs ensures that every project is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.  Tracy's expertise extends to preparing, processing, and filing construction reports, pay estimates, contract modifications, shop drawings, and material certifications. As an MDOT Certified Office Technician, Tracy is adept at navigating guidelines and compliance, utilizing a range of software tools to manage and document construction activities.

• Specialized in commercial electrical project management
• Extensive experience with Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) projects
• ​2 years as an MDOT Certified Office Technician
